Brain cancer is a type of cancer in which the malignant tissues attack the cells of the brain and develop a tumour. This cancer is of serious type and if not cured in the early stages, it can turn into a life threatening disease. MRI scan:

The other name for this test is Magnetic resonance imaging test. In this procedure, the magnetic waves are transmitted to all the parts of the body. This waves travel through all parts of body and with the help of them a series of pictures is made. Later these pictures are analyzed and examined to discover the tumour.

Chemotherapy:

Chemotherapy is a kind of treatment in which certain drugs are prescribed to discover the tumour cells. These medicines are to be taken by mouth. These medicines kill the cells that grow rapidly and spread to other parts of the body. Thus with the help of chemotherapy widespread of the tumour can be stopped. After a certain period of time this medicines are completely stopped by the doctor. This stage is known as the recovery stage. Chemotherapy is recommended in the advanced stages of brain cancer as it has numerous side effects like hair fallacies, weight loss, appetite loss, paleness of skin and memory loss.

Radiation therapy:

In this therapy radioactive waves are passed through the body. These waves are passed through the bloodstream and they help to destroy all the malignant cells present in the body and thus stop the widespread of cancer. It also helps to stop the growth of these cells in the brain that tend to multiply in the body. Radiation therapy also helps to drain the lymph nodes that get radio logically involved with the tumour.

Nutrition therapy:

This therapy of brain cancer is a part of the last stage of the treatment. In this therapy, the nutritional needs of the body are analyzed and according to it a diet is suggested. The diet plan is prepared in such a way that it helps to provide nutrition to the overall health. Sometimes supplements are also recommended as a part of this therapy. These supplements include Vitamin E, Beta Carotene and Selenium.
